As someone who has along with her children suffered & survived the scurge that is domestic violence i am growing ever more disgusted, weary & dissillusioned regarding just how many past generations STILL hold the view that victims of domestic violence MUST  stay with their abusers for the most insane reasons.

How many more women, children ( & men) have to die or survive & be left with deeply ingrained emotional, psychological scars before those with entrenched outdated & therefore dangerous beliefs will actually themselves say that the circle of violence MUST end?

The very fact that there are children involved, ( caught up in) & perhaps even themselves are victims HAS to be a reason to put an end to the violence,.....believe me i know all too well what can ( & does) happen to children who grow up in a violent household.
