There are many types of travelling and we are all different, thus we all like different things. Some like crowded holiday resorts with many people on the beaches, expensive shiny hotels, and fancy dinners. Others prefer staying close to their homes, and go on weekend trips. Some love nature, so they often go camping. What ever your favorite type of holiday may be, you need to have some safe habits, and in this article we'll discuss them at UK campsites.

The main problem at UK campsites, and at campsites in general is that people act like the nature is there for them, and they don't care about it. People's manners are much better in hotels than in the outdoors, and that is more than sad. This is an issue of nature's safety, but it is also an issue of our safety, because certain behaviors can jeopardize us and the people around us. In the next few paragraphs we'll talk about basic safe habits at camping.

When people say camping, many of us think about camp fires, barbecue, and evening talks. While the thought is more than enjoyable, one needs to know the basics. First, there are UK campsites where campfires aren't allowed. Second, if they are, you'll have to use the campfire pit on the site where you are. Fires are tricky to handle in the woods, and should be taken more than seriously. The second thing is less dangerous, but important. Keep the noise down. People who go camping are usually active during the day, and need rest in the evening. If you're up for parties, choose a campsite which is further away from people.

Each UK campsite has its rules which are there to be followed. It is not up to you to judge whether the rules are sensible or not. If you're there, follow the hosts' rules. Seen as the nature is your host, follow its rules. Camps have facilities that are to be shared among all the campers, and everyone should do their best not to hog them. Don't stay too long in the shower, and don't waste water. Also, keep in mind how everything looked when you entered and do your best to keep the same level of cleanliness on your way out.

Littering is also one of the things you should avoid at all costs at UK campsites, and when your camping trip is done, pick up your equipment and leave the spot as it was when you got there. In case you're camping with a pet, make sure that you supervise it and its habits. After meals you'll want to do the dishes. Be patient and wait in line to do it, don't use lakes, washrooms or rivers for this. It is rude and not very nature friendly.

If you think there are too many rules to memorize, just stop and think what you like and don't like when you have guests. Do you like the idea of having to build your home all over again after the visitors leave? You probably aren't a fan of the concept. Camping trips at UK campsites are there for us to enjoy them, but destroying things along the way is just not nice.

Nature is dying away slowly, and not many people are aware of how badly we influence it. Plastic bags, cigarette butts, forest fires and other things have a terrible impact. We should all be educated about do's and don't's while camping at UK campsite, but most of the things depend only on our common sense.
